http://rapidshare.com/files/121533735/ROMTreo750_6_1.zip.html

http://www.mediafire.com/?4gxsdxh1tmm

Solito empieza a Actualizarse.

Soft Reset

A soft reset tells to your device to stop what it is doing and to restart.
All records and programs stored in device will be retained after a soft reset.
After resetting, the usual start screen will appear.
Use a soft reset when your device seems to have crashed or hanged.
This type of reset is the first to try, before any others, to solve the above problems.
This kind of reset is, usually, well known by the user and really easy to perform.

Find the reset button on the handheld device.
It is located in a hole on the back of the device.
Get your stylus or the reset tool located in your stylus,
or any other object with a small end (a paperclip if any).
and push with it into the reset button inside the hole.

Exception: Hp h19xx – Dell AXIM the reset button is on the left-hand side
of the unit and this happens now for many pda/phone also
. For h1940 there is a reset nib in the stylus that can be
found by unscrewing its top.
Hp 36xx/37xx series can perform an hard reset if you press
the reset button for more than 3 seconds. Reset button is at
bottom right of the device
Quite unusual for HTC Touch HD the position of the Soft reset
button that is under the battery cove between the Sim and the
Card slotsr

Hard Reset (or Full Reset)

Performing a hard reset, all settings, records and programs stored in the Pda
(except the ones stored in Rom) will be erased.
After a Hard Reset formats, preferences, and other settings will be restored
to the factory default settings.
You can restore any previous data if you got a Backup of your device before
the hard reset otherwise you will need to reinstall any third-party applications.
If you are hard resetting your device owing to some hard problem i suggest
to restores installed applications without using the backup if you are not sure
that backup data do not include the problem you wish to solve also.
In few words a hard reset allows you to start everything over from scratch.

WARNING: for WM 5.0 users (wrongly called also as WM 2005)
The new operative system Windows Mobile 5.0 totally modified the use and the construction of the
internal memory of the PDA. For all the models that use this new O.S. the Ram is used only as the
operative memory while the users’ programs before loaded into the same kind of memory are now
stored in Rom (or FRom, FlashRom etc) that is working now as an HD and is no longer subject to
the lost of data following a full discharge of battery.
What said above causes a possible different execution of the usual HardReset operation.
We can note that, while the soft reset is still unchanged, for the classic Hard Reset, that resumes
the original default setting, has been added new processes with different name and result quite
different from the hard reset as usually known.
We may say something like the Warm reset of Palm already used.
So for any new pda will be added the new procedure if any (the one that is different from the
classic Hard Reset ) and it will be shown by a different colour.

ATTENTION: The soft reset requires only to push a button and the only
difference is the place where this button is located.
It is not so easy to perform an Hard Reset as, in many cases
each group of devices has its own procedure and buttons
locations.
To try to make it easy the instructions are shown quoting the relative devices:

AUDIOVOX /- 1032C Maestro
Press the power button while pressing and holding the reset switch with the stylus, and then release the power

for the soft reset note that these model have the button in different places (at the bottom, rear or side).
Treo750_OS5_2_19199WWE_STD.rar from http://omnifusionhosting.net/treo750/
(I couldn’t find the original posts for Treo750_OS5_2_19199WWE_STD.rar so I uploaded to my own site for now)

1. Download, extract, and run MAGIC_UNLOCKER on your phone.
2. Select both options in MAGIC_UNLOCKER and click unlock. This will unlock your phone.
3. Format your SD card to FAT32.
4. Extract Treo750_OS5_2_19199WWE_STD.rar and copy/paste CHEEIMG.nbh to the formatted SD card.
5. Transfer 1_CHEE_MountExtROM.cab and 2_Chee_Extrom_rename.cab to your Treo 750.
5. Run/Install 1_CHEE_MountExtROM.cab and then soft reset the phone.
7. Run/Install 2_Chee_Extrom_rename.cab and then soft reset the phone.
8. Click and run Start>Programs>Chee_Extrom_Unlocker. Run it about 3 or 4 time and you should some type of error messages. Just OK or X them and soft reset the phone again.
9. Open File Explorer and click the drop down arrow, in which you will now see ExtendROM. Open it and delete the 2 files in the partition folder.
10. Download, extract, and run CheetahUnlocker on your computer. For this part make sure you have an ActiveSync (XP) or WMDC (Vista) connection to your phone. Click Flash SPL and go through the steps for CheetahUnlocker to Flash SPL. Don’t worry about any of the other items in the menu.
11. After going through the steps in CheetahUnlocker and the phone, the phone will enter into tri-color bootloader screen momentarily followed by Loading screen…
12. Next, you’ll see a light blue screen with the heading CHEEIMG.nhb followed by a few other entries below it. At this point, it will tell you press the power button. Go ahead and press the End Call/Power button. This will begin the ROM flashing. The ROM flashing takes about 5 to 15 minutes.
13. When the flashing is completed, the bottom of the screen will say Update successful and the entries above with the OK seen at the end. Now reset the Treo 750 with the stylus and immediately (during the Palm Logo) perform a Hard Reset. This is accomplished by pressing and holding the End Call/Power button and simultaneously resetting the Treo 750.
14. You will now be prompted to Erase All Data. Press the Up key of the D-Pad to continue and erase the data. This will format the phone.
11. Upon completion, the Treo 750 will continue to boot-up and go through the initial start-up steps and wizard. Once completed, your phone will now be unlocked, unbranded, and updated to Windows Mobile 6.1.

I made this thread to help people unbrand, unlock, and update their Treo 750s without having to waste hours looking for solutions and how-to something. Basically, made it easier for the noobies and everyone else to find everything in one thread.
