One of the real benefits of the Windows Mobile Smartphone platform is its multi-tasking capability we all know from our PCs. Therefore it makes sense to have an easy to use task-switcher on the device (like Alt-Tab on the PC) which – unfortunately – Microsoft neither provides for Pocket PCs nor for Smartphones. Therefore VITO Technology released TaskSwitcher for Windows Mobile Smartphones. It’s an already well-known and highly popular utility for Pocket PC users and now it is ready to conquer the new platform.

VITO TaskSwitcher allows you to switch easily between your running tasks or stop them from a pop-up list. You can do it using only your joystick:
- Call TaskSwitcher list using the assigned button
- In the list navigate with joystick buttons (or stylus if you wish)
- To switch to a highlighted item press Enter
- Autoselect function also automatically switches to a highlighted item after 5 seconds
- To close the highlighted application press the right navigation button
- To close the active application or all running applications choose “Close active” or “Close all”
- To close TaskSwitcher press the left navigation button

Now DredSensor should be compatible with other device than HTC Touch Diamond.
Historically, if you have tried to play a game needing left and right key on an HTC Touch Diamond, you noticed that they are 2mm wide and if you click next to it, you get back to home page or to dialing menu etc…
So I’ve written a prog allowing you to lock these 4 keys actions and replace it by classical key event (VK_LEFT, VK_RIGHT, …).
In that way you can play tetris, and use “Pick-Up” and “Hang-Up” keys for going left and right.

nueClockControl allows you to change the clock speed of your Qualcomm MSM7XXX(A) based device.
Although overclocking is not possible yet, you can set the frequency of the ARM11 core to the preset ranges between 19.20 MHz and 528.00 MHz for MSM7×01A (384.00 MHz for MSM7×00). Note that Device Information always displays 528.00 MHz or 400.00MHz, so you should use nueClockControl to gauge your current device frequency.
There is also a command line mode:
nueClockControl.exe setting
where setting is a number from 0-7, corresponding to frequencies in the combobox. 7 is 528.00 MHz and 0 is 19.20 MHz. The numbers are different on the MSM7×00 400MHz parts.
